PDW Introduces a new level of gear-nerd classification

That bastion of high-end equipage, Prometheus Design Werx (PDW) recently released a set of morale patches to act as reusable labels for your field gear.

The current list includes Media, Tools, Camp Kitchen, Ammo, Seed Vault, Food, 72 Hour, Hygiene, Bedding, and Medical . . .

Though, Seed Vault may be optimistic for a weekend event, I really do like the idea of these clean, clear labels, ready to slap onto the Velcro field of your favorite pack or duffel.

I would probably consider swapping Media for something more inclusive that denotes your field computer, electronics, etc.  but maybe this is just me.

The next run could maybe include a Comms one for radios, Ham equipment, etc.     Pyrotechnics for the more adventurous and/or bold, etc.

Being the consummate gear nerd, I immediately added these to the cart. . . .   However, looking at $90 for a set of patches quashed my interest.   This would be a good option for the well-heeled traveler, or for the action/adventure team that is sponsored or throws in together on team equipment.

Looks like the #medical patch is sold out, but the rest are still available as of today.
